The headlines scream of government coverups. Images and videos flood the media, social or the other type, with “evidence.”

But in all this hysteria, no one has ever proffered a plausible explanation as to why. Why is the government covering these things up? With all the disjointed, hurray for me and f%&k everybody else that pervades much of government bureaucracy, not one disgruntled staffer has ever released anything even remotely credible.

Yet the headlines continue, the aluminum covered conspiracy theorists spout their demands for the truth, and yet we are still, as far as I can tell, alone for the moment in this section of the galaxy.

Or are we? Maybe the aliens aren’t among us. Maybe, they are us.
